In order to provide the highest quality service, we do collect some personal information from and may invite you to update that information, be it your business listing information, profile information, ratings or reviews that have been posted online. We are committed to ensuring that all your personal information that is collected will be held securely so that we and any other companies in our Group that you have dealings with, either now or in the future, can manage your relationship with us.. From time to time, we may wish with your agreement to contact you by email, SMS, post or phone with information about other products or services which may be of interest to you. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

118 118: 3rd Party Market Survey
The market research is being undertaken to help us understand our customers’ experience of 118 118.
If you agree that we can contact you by providing your opt-in permission to our agents, then your phone number will be passed to a 3rd party called 2CV, who is undertaking the market research survey on our behalf. Your phone number will be sent securely to 2CV who will aim to contact you within approximately 21 days of your call to 118 118 to run through a short 10 minute telephone interview with you. You do not have to take part in the telephone interview and can choose to decline participation. You can also opt-out of being contacted by 118 118 by calling 118 118 Customer care to ensure that we do not contact you again. 2CV will only store your phone number for the purpose of the market survey and will delete it 28 days after the end of the project, once the survey is completed or you decline taking part.
When collecting your permission to contact you in the future, 118 118 is storing your phone number details in a secure location and will only use them for market research purposes as per the question “In the future, we would like to contact you to take part in some market research, is that ok?. We also store the recording of the 118 118 call where your opt-in permission was obtained. You are able to be removed from the opt-in database at any time by contacting our Customer Care team directly on 0800 3891 118 from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Your opt in permission will be stored within our database for 182 days, after which time it will be deleted.
The way in which 118 118 is collecting your opt-in consent complies with all current data regulations including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)
